Hyundai Genesis Coupe: Smart And Stylish
In 2008 during the New York International Auto Show Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe. At first it was meant for the Korean market, but later on February 26, 2009, it arrived in the US as a 2010 model.
From the first look this car has no special design features–simplicity and no notes of uniqueness. But it’s difficult to deny that the car is very attractive and may leave a long-lasting impression on you.
Some critics consider this new rear-drive Hyundai car to be a rival and a competitor to the Infiniti G37. The New York Times evaluates the car in this way: “It’s not as fast as the Infiniti and not at all luxurious. But the Genesis may actually top the Infiniti in pure entertainment value: the Hyundai is younger, louder and more visceral, eager to shake its tail through power slides that the Infiniti would sniff at as immature behavior.”
The car runs with either a 2L Theta turbocharged 4-cylinder or a 3.8L Lambda V6 engine and is able to reach a top speed of 149 mph.
The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is now available in nine different colors. The starting price is $22,000.
The Hyundai Genesis Coupe has a number of additional safety features, which will allow the driver to enjoy his crazy drive with a relieved heart. Among them are four-wheel anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, Lower Anchor & Tethers for Children (LATCH), a tire pressure monitoring system and many other features.
Taking into account all the features and benefits of this stylish and handsome car, one can draw a conclusion that it is very suitable for fans of reasonably priced sports cars and for those young people who are crazy about an active and fun-loving lifestyle.
