On September 15, 2009 during the Frankfurt motor show the 458 Italia made its debut. This new sports car is manufactured by Ferrari and is designed for people crazy about adventure, exhilaration and speed.
Ferrari has spared no efforts to make the car as tempting and attractive as possible. The first feature that makes it stand out and desirable is the speed. The car weighs 3,042 pounds and due to its special aerodynamics system has 202 mph top speed and 570 horsepower. In just 3.4 seconds the car will hit 60 mph from a full stop.
Another advantage of the car is its “save the nature” feature–the Ferrari 458 Italia has a developed a refined fuel consumption system and lower CO2 emissions rate compared with previous Ferrari models.
By the way, the name 458 of this new Ferrari derives from the engine type, as it runs with a 4.5 L V8 engine.
