The Cobra Venom Roadster

Definitely one of the most legendary vehicles of all times is the AC/Shelby Cobra from the 1960s. Talented designer Jamie Frank Martin imagined how the new Cobra might look, as you can see in the photo.
It’s called the Cobra Venom and looks really astonishing but you’ll be even more amazed knowing what’s under the hood. The supercharged V8 Ford engine produces 524hp that helps the Venom go 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. The car also sports a top speed of 214 mph. That means in case the car goes into production Bugatti Veyron will face one of its most difficult challenges, and I’m not even talking about Lamborghini or Ferrari.
eGMCarTech reports more details.
The Cobra Venom V8 Roadster is said to be built on a lightweight aluminum chassis with carbon-fiber body panels. It rides on 17-inch gun-metal cast aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero “snake tread” tires. Options include a DVD satellite navigation system, HID headlamps with LED front and rear lights.
SportsCar comments on the design.
The Cobra Venom V8 will undoubtedly be more refined than the visceral glory of the original Shelby vehicles, and while the concept images show a derivative car, it’s still good looking; classic proportions never go out of style.
