Avro 720 Mirage Ford GT Limited Edition
The Ford GT was initially shown as a concept model at Detroit motor show in 1995. It looked strong and stylish and even without driving it, people liked it.
So, first impressions were positive and the car went into production, but as a limited model even until today. During these 13 years it has taken its place alongside other luxury sports models such as those from Ferrari, Porsche or Lamborghini.
That’s the Ford GT supercar, but now its time to move on to a model tuned by Avro Motor Cars called the 720 Mirage Ford GT. The most obvious change is its new metallic orange paint which really gives the vehicle a fresh new look. However, besides some other modifications in terms of the exterior, they also refined the engine as well.
By modifying the V8 engine they managed to increase the horsepower from 550 to 720. The top speed is 220km/h instead of the standard 205km/h and
AutoBlog reports that Avro changed the suspension as well.
The suspension has been modified with KW Variant 3 adjustable coilovers that drop the limited edition whip by 25mm, while AP six-piston calipers clamp onto drilled and slotted rotors courtesy of Stillen.
Drivers will no doubt like the superb handling of the car, but few will be able to afford it. Price will probably be around $200,000.
