Evos is a new concept of a Ford sedan which was revealed during this year’s Frankfurt car show. Some pessimists will turn their back to Evos considering it another one-day show off set up by one of the famous car industry brands and they will probably be partially right to do so, as this red beauty is definitely not going to be manufactured in series. From the other side there are more important things than serial manufacture. Evos is the prototype for the near future Ford sedan. The concept is meant to change the kinetic design of previous the former Ford sedan. The difference is noticeable even from general view. The main style differences are the clearer lines, compact lighting (so unusual for Ford models) and the whole new front part, which in a way reminds of an Aston Martin. Maybe that is why a forecast may have place that a Ford sedan is going to look sportier and more expensive in their outlooks. The main concern is that the serial models will lose the best features from the concept and become the same boring Fords, to which we are used to for many years.
What also impresses about the car is the advanced board information system, which can perform almost anything. Added to the useful functions which had in possession the previous Fords, Evos has a built-in Wi-Fi module, which downloads and digests information straight from the Internet, warns you about traffic jams, downloads your favorite music, helps to keep in touch with your friends on social networks and even measures the heartbeat of the driver.
We will probably see the first serial car based on this concept in the upcoming months, most probably on the Detroit auto show.
