New BMW M3 Convertible
The new BMW M3 convertible will be shown in March at the Geneva Motor Show. The fourth generation M3 has the same 420hp V8 engine under the hood as the basic coupe, but manages 0-100km/h slower because of its heaver convertible roof.
Owners, however, are going to be very proud as BMW’s new seven speed transmission will debut on the convertible. According to Auto Unleashed, the engine features individual throttle butterflies, variable double-VANOS camshaft control and Brake Energy Regeneration.
It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100km/h) in 5.3 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h), while having a fuel consumption of 21 mpg (12,9 litres/100 km).
Customers can also choose their interiors. The exterior is breath-taking, and likely people will notice the car rather than you. What I also like is its high-end audio system with nine-channel amplifier and 16 high-output loudspeakers.
With a sound system like that, people will hear you coming long before you arrive.
