Police Stopped Bugatti & Ferrari On Public Roads
Two superfast vehicles, a Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari 599GTB, were recently stopped by British police. It seems that their owners wanted to check which was faster — even if that meant endangering the lives of other drivers.
The two cars were reported to be traveling at up to 130mph. The Sun reports what happened.
The driver of the Bugatti “ a left-hand drive model with French number plates“ was given three penalty points and a fixed fine of £60.
The Ferrari managed to escape. According to CarFront , such reckless driving would be treated more seriously in the U.S.
We know a situation such as this might be, and most likely will be MUCH different if you are in the states, However in the UK, you’d be looking at 3 points on your record and a fine that’s a mere droplet compared to what you paid for the car at £60 (about $120.)
