Fox Racing: A Motorcycler’s Dream
Fox Racing top brand name in the world of motorsports and specializes in motocross equipment, clothing and accessories.
The company was founded in 1974 in Morgan Hill, California, by Geoff Fox, a Ph. D who taught physics at the University of Santa Clara. Fox started a small business producing European motocross bikes and branded it Moto-X Fox .
Soon thereafter, Moto-X Fox became very popular among motorcycle riders, achieving its success by producing high quality suspension and engine components for racers. This alone however was not enough for Fox. In 1977, in order to show the superiority of his hand-made American products as opposed to the Japanese factory-made competitors, Fox funded his own private professional motorcross team, Team Moto-X Fox to compete in the extremely competitive AMA 125cc National Championship. His team placed fifth, sixth and seventh, proving that his man-made parts were not only worthy, but top of the line.
By 1980 Moto-X Fox had become an inseparable part of the US Motocross apparel industry. Today it is still a family-run business. Fox’s four children do everything in their power not only to maintain, but also to develop the business their father began. Thanks to their efforts, Fox Racing products, under the Fox Head Logo, is one of the most recognized and popular motorsport brands out there.
After dominating the motorsports industry, Fox Racing also became the world’s number one brand in BMX and mountain bike apparel, at the same time being loyal to its motocross roots.
Today Fox Racing produces a wide range of motorcycle accessories and sport clothing, including helmets, pants, gloves, boots, jerseys as well as ordinary sportswear: jeans, shorts, T-shirts, hats, sweaters, jackets.
Most racers prefer Fox Racing products for the very reason that the quality and style are combined in the right way, which allows one to feel both protected and stylish among their racer buddies.
Analyzing the work of Fox Racing one can surely say that they are not about to give up their place on top, on the contrary, are determined to keep improving their products and hold on to their title as leaders of the pack.
