In Search Of A Pre-Owned BMW
There should be no question in any motorist’s mind that BMW is among the elite class of superior performance cars that can be purchased today, considering one can be found that will meet nearly any budget. Not all of us can afford to buy a new one, however, which is why pre-owned BMWs can be a thrifty, wise choice.
Fortunately for anyone dreaming of owning one, there are Web sites that offer BMW classifieds. You may be able to find a specific BMW model that you are looking for, from a 1954 BMW 502 sedan to a nifty 1974 BMW 2002 convertible. Naturally, if you aren’t crazy about the idea of owning a vintage car, there are plenty of pre-owned BMWs available that have been manufactured within the last 10 years.
Online BMW classic car classifieds can reveal a world of automotive wonders that you couldn’t otherwise imagine. Why? Consider your local city newspaper for instance. Assuming that there are BMWs for sale listed, and there’s no reason to believe that they won’t be, your selection is going to be limited to the region in which you live. Obviously, the wider your search, the more choices you’ll have. That’s where online BMW classifieds come in. You can narrow you search down by model and price.
For instance, if you have a limited budget, say between $25,000 and $50,000, you can plug in those values to confine your search to that price range. On the BMW classifieds site that I found I was able to retrieve 37 search results instantly in that ballpark. Some of the cars that appeared in the results page were located in Florida, which means that there is low probability of rust. One of them was a gray 2005 BMW 645 Convertible with a six-speed manual transmission and a 4.4 V8 engine pumping out 325 horsepower. Then there are the 19-in alloy wheels, all-leather gray interior, heated seats and steering wheel (quite useful since I live in Boston), dynamic driving control, and the fantastic six-disc CD-changer Logic 7 audio system, not to mention a host of other goodies. It was going for just under $38,000 as the asking price. By the looks of things in the provided photos this honey is in mint condition, and it is absolutely gorgeous.
Now I don’t know if I am in the market for a BMW since I’m still toying with the idea of buying a used open-top Hummer H1. There are indeed a wide variety of used hummers for sale, but the BMW might be an affordable, not to mention exhilaratingly fun alternative. Read the online BMW classifieds to find your motoring match made in heaven.
