Maybach 62s
The Maybach 62s is the latest in the family and consequently the most advanced and luxurious. The letter “s” at the end doesn’t mean sports, it means special, and that’s quite fitting. The Maybach 62s is the most powerful limousine in the world.
The new V12 be-turbo engine by AMG is modified and now is more powerful then ever. The modification adds an extra 65hp to the previous Maybach 62′s engine. The maximum torque of these new monster reaches 1,000Nm, allowing these giants to reach 100km/h in just 5,2 seconds while the top speed tops at 250km/h. If you want more, do yourself a favor and buy a Ferrari.
The interior doesn’t need any advertisement. As CARANDDRIVER reports, “it comes in limited color choices: black, silver or white, complimented by all-black or white-and-black leather-lined interiors rife with wood, carbon fiber and black lacquer accents.”
It’s obvious that with this powerful engine and luxury, Mercedes is trying to gain at least the same success as Rolls-Royce has now. For sure, there in the same market. The Maybach 62s costs $425,000.
