A limousine or a limo, as you’re most likely aware, is a long, spacious luxury car often driven by a chauffeur.

The first limousine was built in 1902 and has been associated with wealth and luxury since then. Only rich people and prominent politicians used to ride in a limo in those early days. Today however, many middle-class people can afford limos on several occasions.

Chicago limo service, for instance, provides limos for weddings, parties and other occasions. People turn to their services as it is very fashionable nowadays. Especially young people think that it’s a must to arrive at the party in a luxurious limo. The bride and the groom consider a limo ride an integral part of their wedding. You can even hire a limo for several hours to take you to the theater and ride back.

The limo has been the favorite vehicle of several celebrities. When watching such distinguished festivals as the Oscars, Cannes Movie Festival or the World Music Awards you’ll notice that most of the guests arrive in sumptuous limousines. That makes them more shiny and beaming.

In spite of the fact that today many ordinary people can also be seen riding in a limo, the car has not lost an ounce of its majesty. It is still the pride of the rich and the desire of the rest.

As for me, I don’t think that riding in a limo is snobbish. All people have the right to feel grandiose and important.
