Detroit 2008: Lamborghini Custom Ad Personam ProgramIf you’re one of the lucky few to own a Lamborghini Gallardo then you’ve already added more personalization to your image than most, but in case that’s not enough, Lamborghini is ready to offer you something even more personal. The idea is to let its customers choose their own custom color and interior through its Ad Personam Program presented at the Detroit 2008 Motor Show.

However, autoblog says that the new colors don’t really differ that much from standard.

As wild as a standard Lamborghini might be, for some people it isn’t enough. That’s one of the reasons Lambo unveiled its ultra-exclusive, uber-expensive Reventon a while back. But those are all spoken for and there are still hundreds, if not thousands of buyers waiting to personalize their Gallardos and LP 640s. While the colors look good on the raging bulls, it’s hard to see where they differ that much from the “standard” Bolognese colori.

The Ad Personam Program sounds good, but because the color and interior don’t really change the entire look of a car it would be nice if Lamborghini offered something like the ability to add different spoilers. On the other hand, I’ll be honest and I’d settle for even the standard version.
