2008 Volkswagen Jetta: Affordable Luxury

2008 Volkswagen Jetta: Affordable LuxuryIf you think that comfort and luxury in a car is out of reach for less than $30,000. the 2008 Volkswagen Jetta might make you think again.

It’s already the fifth version in the series, with the very first Jetta was produced in 1979. The first three were considered to be below average in terms of quality, but since the forth generation, VW has put more effort in.

As a result, its quality can not only be ranked as above average, but it has also managed to gain maximum scores in safety tests as well.

The current generation surpasses its predecessors with the addition of a luxury salon as well. The Jetta is the sedan/salon version of the famous Golf series and directed towards the U.S market where hatchbacks are not so popular. Anyway, Mother Proof comments on the vehicle.

This Jetta is luxurious. It’s a pleasure to drive. It’s downright posh. The 2008 Jetta boasts all the features and luxury of a car twice the price. We’ve got smooth leather seats. We’ve got a primo sound system with a six-CD changer and Sirius Satellite Radio. We’ve got navigation. We’ve got keyless entry. We’ve got spiffy alloy wheels. We’ve got a sunroof with not a crank wheel in sight. And yes, we’ve got seat heaters for a warm tush. That’s a lot of stuff, right? Well, we’re not through. Miraculously, the Jetta manages to have all this and still be affordable.

Finally, watch the test drive below.
