Closer To Reality: BMW CS
BMW presented its CS concept model for the first time last year at the Shanghai Auto Show. It immediately captured everybody’s attention as it might become the top of the range series.
We already know that BMW plans to start producing the CS in 2010, but I think it is clear that BMW made this concept not just to show off their design skills as the Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide are set to appear on the horizon too. The CS will be wider, longer and more expensive then the current 7 series and provide even more power and comfort along with luxury and technically innovative features.
According to AutoBlog BMW is planning to produce 15,000 per-year with $150,000 each.
15,000 vehicles per year is not so many and I guess they will be sold on order. It will be interesting to discover what Mercedes-Benz is going to offer in this class class?
