Tokyo Motor Show 2007 Shapes The Future
Although we’re a little late in reporting this, on October 26 the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show was opened with the theme, “Catch the News, Touch the Future.” The event was organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association Inc. and attracted 246 exhibitors and about 1.43 million visitors.
Running until 11 November 11, those visitors had the opportunity to see some 77 world debuts, including 36 passenger cars and 32 motorcycles) as well as 103 Japanese premieres, including 75 passenger cars and motorcycles.
Takeo Fukui, president and director of Honda, said in his speech for the global media, that Honda’s major theme for this year`s show is “Find Your Wings.”
