Types Of Car Washes
Like any other thing you have, your car should be kept clean. Why? Because if you keep it clean, it will always look new and “fresh.”
But that should not be the primary reason. Remember that dust, salt and bird droppings greatly damage the car. So, to wash a car means to prevent possible damage to the paint.
There are several types of car washes– an at-home car wash, self-service car wash, full service car wash and waterless car wash.
At-home car wash – This is a perfect solution for those people who:
- Trust their cars to no one else but themselves
- Think ( like me) that no one could do it better than they
- Refer to it as a most pleasant morning or afternoon activity
But you should be very careful, because you are not a professional.
Self service car wash – A self service car wash supposes the following: you drive your car to a bay, and wash it with a hose yourself. It is much like a wash-at-home activity. But there is one difference–you use a high-pressure nozzle attached to a hose to wash your car.
Touchless automatic wash – With a touchless automatic car wash, there is only one thing to do–drive it to a bay where an automated system will thoroughly wash your car. The main advantage of this type of car washing is that it’s quick and effective.
Waterless car wash – I am sure that many of you think that, for example bird droppings can’t be fully removed without water. But believe me they can. Besides, aren’t you tired of carrying buckets of water all the time? Then try special waterless car wash products (made of natural surfactants) and microfiber towels. You will notice the difference within 2-3 minutes after having finished cleaning the car.
The prices of car washes are not high at all. They depend on the type of car wash you choose. But the basic prices vary between $10-40.
Take good care of your car and don’t forget to wash it regularly.
