Tips To Prevent Driving Fatigue
Road accidents and car crashes happen all the time . They are caused by breaking traffic laws, by inattentiveness or carelessness of the drivers, by driver fatigue and so on.
According to tacsafety.com, 20% of road accidents involve driver fatigue. Some cases of car accidents caused by driver fatigue have already been recorded this month, for instance, the bus crash in Arizona on March 5 caused the death of six tourists.
Cases of driver fatigue are indeed very common and very hazardous, but fortunately they are preventable. To avoid fatigue and sleepiness during the drive in front of the vehicle wheel, there are some useful tips to follow:
- always try to have a companion with you;
- have music switched on;
- if you feel you are tired or sleepy, have a break, breathe fresh air, do some exercises, have a nap, or drink coffee;
- avoid heavy meals before the drive.
However, these tips are very individual, and may be helpful for some people, while make no difference for the others. Fortunately today there are auto alarm systems, ready to warn drivers, when their eyes are closed for longer then the blink time requires. There is another very effective fatigue alarm system, which is placed behind the ear of the driver and warns him with vibrations or a loud sound, each time the driver’s nods his head.
Before sitting in front of the wheel, think about your own safety and the safety of those who are dear to you. Consider getting one of the driver fatigue auto alarm systems and do not forget that driving is not something to play with.
