All Mercedes SLR McLaren owners be attentive as Mercedes is recalling three SLR McLarens. As Auto unleashed reports this is due to problems with windshields as they need to be cleaned and reinstalled correctly. Mercedes-Benz forgot to cover windshields with a special protecting layer.

The cars to be recalled are from the 2007 series and concerns only North American McLarens. Owners will be directed to Mercedes-Benz service centers in a month, but it’s worth pointing out that other McLarens were recalled in 2006. After paying $500,000 for your car it’s kind of surprising to have it later recalled.

Still, I’m sure all three owners have more than one car in their garage and will not have to slum it on public transport.
